INGREDIENTS you will need...
- Milk (200 ml).
- Water (20 ml).
- Some good quality of Indian Tea (tea leaves are preferred)
- Cardamom (elaichi)
- Sugar to taste
- Basil leaves (tulsi)
- Ginger flakes
Process:
- Take a pan
- Boil the milk and water together
- Add tea or tea leaves, and add sugar to it.
- Take Basil leaves and ginger flakes, crush them together, and add this to the mixture.
- Add crushed cardamom to the mixture.
- Put the burner on low flame.
- Heat the tea until it turns a reddish brown colour.
- Increase the flame.
- Stop the burner when the milk rises to the top of the pan.
- Filter all the solid out.
- Serve hot with biscuits.
Note: Add milk first then add other ingredients for better taste.
